Topic tags/keywords: powermatic tablesaw planer powermatic 66 powermatic 15 accu-fence rout-r-lift

I have some high quality Powermatic wordworking tools for sale. I bought a home in West Michigan from an executor of the estate of a deceased gentleman, who was an avid woodworker and furniture builder. The home has a large workshop in the basement with a number of amazing tools, that unfortunately I don’t have any current use for. Funny thing is my dad was a woodworker and made a number of instruments over the years and now I am a musician (vs. a woodworker).

I believe the tools are from 2003 judging from the plates. I have the owner’s manuals for each. As you can see from the pics, the tools are in great condition and have been well maintained (the entire workshop is meticulous). The tablesaw comes with the 50” Accu-fence, the Rout-R-Lift and dust collection accessories. The planer also has dust collection accessories, along with an adjustable freestanding roller. There are likely other related accessories in the shop that I am not aware of that you may expect with tools such as these and that I may have, which I would also be willing to sell.

I am interested in reasonable offers (it’s not a fire sale). My preliminary assessment, based on age and pedigree, one owner, level of care, and number of accessories, etc. is that the saw is probably worth somewhere around $1200 to $1500 and the planer is worth between $1500 to $2000. Let me know if you are interested in discussing.

These tools would both be a great addition to someone looking to upgrade their shop or to make a serious foray into woodworking. Happy to chat. Thanks for your time.

No offense intended, but I think your prices seem too high. Don’t get me wrong, they are nice pieces of equipment, but if you are correct on the age, they are approaching 15 years old. You will likely either need to lower the prices, or you will find that they will sit around. A brand new PM planer with a Helical head and with a warranty is around $3k. You will likely need to try and sell yours for around $1500, maybe as much as $1800. The saw on the other hand, would be in direct competition with a SawStop. Those can be bought new for $3k. To get movement on your saw, you are probablly looking at around $1000 to $1200.
