I was in a pawn shop the other day looking at their power tools and came across a Mastercraft 13” scroll saw. They have it priced at $35. Is that a good price, and is it a quality tool? It does not have a blade, is that an easy part to find? It is a little rusted , but not pitted so that should clean up just fine. Google was not any help at all in researching this tool, so I decided to ask the experts, my fellow LJ’s.

Dosen’t look like they make that one any more but you should be able to get blades at almost any good hardware store or check thier web site and see if they have parts.

But for $35 I would go for it and if it turned out to be junk it would make a good door stop and not have cost to much, but then it might be a great saw and then you made a really good deal.

I had one given to me and broke the blade. Can’t find part of the blade. Does anyone know what length blade it takes?

Had one but gave it away, kept breaking blades?
