Need some help with an entry bench/storage

Have you thought of making a bench with a separate shelf on the wall above it instead of one large unit? Or is this not going against a wall? And if you send me your email in a private message I can send you a couple storage bench planes to get you started.

Hey Michael, I’m not sure how fancy your looking for, but this can’t be all that hard to design yourself. I’m envisioning a lower shelf to hold some shoes, a basic lift top box similar to a toy box or blanket chest, with a tall back and some coat hangers on it. Maybe another shelf up top for more gloves / hats, whatever.
Is that about what your looking for? Pre-made plans are likely available for some similar stuff, but to get exactly what you want your gonna have to do some of your own designing.

Can you build something from a picture? Cause surely you can find something similar on the net…

It’s more about scale and proportion for me. I just need something to go off so I can get started. Those are good ones and I might grab that hall tree from plansnow, but I had another idea so I might pursue that too. I did some drawings but they looked like crap so I just wanted to see if anyone else had some insight. BreakingBoardom gave me some good insights too with some plans.
