I know this sounds wierd but my daughter is wanting me to build her a fairy house. I have some ideas but looking for some more input on it. its a little different than building a rocking horse or something like that. Have no idea where to begin. I don’t want to break her heart because I said, I would so how about some ideas could use them.

here’s one I did.
It’s actually a door to a room with “stairs” that lead to another door that leads to … ??
My granddaughter has it sitting on a book shelf.

A fairy door leads to all possibilities.

Fairies like to use natural materials. Think…feng shui with moss and pinecone petals. And twigs. And round windows.

Some fairies prefer to live in semi-detached houses: http://www.travelblog.org/pix/shim.gif and some fairies are very DIY: http://askthepartyfairy.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/fairy-houses-jpeg.jpg. No two fairies are alike, and neither are their houses: http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&source=hp&biw=1647&bih=834&q=fairy+house&gbv=2&aq=f&aqi=g10&aql=&oq= .
