This crawled out as I was re sawing.
It will make a unique top panel for a humidor, don’t you think?

Beautiful. Re-sawing can sometimes produce some neat stuff, can’t it. I had it occur & used it for the top of a jewelry box. I think it will be a great top for a humidor.

The knot on the right is loose. I think I’ll pry it out and fill it with Turquoise and Iron Pyrite (fools gold).
Will kinda destroy the symmetry but, the little gal the humidor is for is rather off center, too.

That reminds me of the “Spyder” stickers that adorned the hoods of countless Chevrolet Monzas from when I was a kid…

Hey Gene, instead of just filling the knot, why not (knot?) rout out a spider body shape including the defect and fill the whole area with your mixture? Just a thought.
