Hi all, I’ve recently come across some nice red timber but I haven’t got a clue what it is. Can anyone help me out identifying the wood?? Thanks in advance.

I’m a complete novice in wood working and identifying wood types but the wood I have seems to be far to hard than what I have read about red alder and I can’t find anything about orange cherry but like I said I’m a complete novice lol thank you for the replies though
