Because I have 8” of snow on my 2 driveways to remove before going to my mother-in-law to do hers as well. And shoveling snow is not one of my favorite jobs. -- Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful- Joshua Marine |

I would be out in the shop, but it’s too cold out there, no work to be done, and I’m presently being strung up by a lynch mob. It really kinda puts a damper on things. |

I have about 14” of snow between me and the shop not counting the drifts up to 28” the last time I measured. It is still snowing and the wind keeps making it drift back into where I shoveled. These blizzard condition ARE expected to end in my area soon, of course by that time it will be too dark to shovel. I will have to help my brother-in-law dig out his truck in the morning. He is from Windsor, ON and was on his way to Bonita Springs, FL when they had to pull in to our place because the roads and visibility were terrible. -- Larry "Work like a Captain but Play like a Pirate!" |

Ah, Snow! I remember that stuff. When I moved from Maine, every night when I stopped, I would go to the local hardware store and ask them if they had any snow shovels. When I got where I am now in Texas, they said “You want a what!?” I unloaded the truck. I’m finished finishing for the day, Myron, so now I’m killing time on the computer. At least the company’s good. -- Tim-- http://www.tmuli.com |
