Topic tags/keywords: finishing carving question

does anyone know of a good source for ideas for infilling a carved name or design? I may fill with pewter or silver and sand flush, but I’m interested in other options too. I have seen, maybe on LJs, projects that use turquoise to fill live edges, cracks ect,,..

any suggestions?

Don’t know what your project is, but epoxy and sawdust are an option. Take a look at my butterfly mosaic…the black lines are just epoxy with ebony dust.
