Topic tags/keywords: murphy bed revolving

I was browsing YouTube and saw this….

https://youtu.be/gN9yXdCLQ8I

Near as I can tell, they cost around $8,000 and are custom made-to-order in Italy. There’s got to be a way to make one with basic Murphy Bed hardware, but I’m stumped how they support the bed while it’s rotating. You can almost see a track with curved profile to guide the motion, but I can’t see anything that supports the weight or that keeps the top and bottom “in sync”.

Maybe this is beyond the scope of DIY… but I still really want to know how it works. Any thoughts?

These are more practical and what I’m going to build this summer—-

No need to have it spin like that, and with the one I like, your stuff stays on your desk.
I’m going to hard mount my monitors on the underside of the bed and I’ll be good to go
