Topic tags/keywords: notes favorites

Maybe I’m overlooking something (I’ve been known to do that a few times), but I’m trying to figure out where the “notes” are that I added as I marked posts as my favorites. If anyone knows, please let me know. I thought I was adding the notes to make it easier to find projects that are on my favorites list. .... Or, maybe I’m confused about what the “notes” are for.

Good question. I never wrote notes on a favorite before, so I just tried it. And you are right… I can’t find them either.

If you’re missing the obvious, at least you’re not alone. :-)

Click on the project listed as a fovorite. When the project is open click on the “My Favorite” and it will show your comment/note.

The “My Favorite” button is in the same place as the “Add to Favorites” button used to be.

Well, I know that Rex. I was thinking there was a way to get to the comments so I wouldn’t have to look through all the posts.

Sorry, I think it’s the only way so I assumed that’s what you needed.

I totally agree though that a list of project titles along with comments would be great to have.

The funny part is; if you open a project that has been favorited 6 times and you click on the link “6 times favorited” you will see everyone who favorited the project along with the notes they wrote.

You are right Rex, and I just noticed that a couple of weeks ago. Prior to that, I had always thought that “my notes” were private. I guess someone will explain it all to us.

Maybe someone should suggest this to Martin. He might be happy to receive a request that is not related to block lists.

That’s a good point JJ. I forgot to add them back when I changed the format of favorites and made them look similar to projects, blogs etc. listings (long time ago). I will have to find a way to add them back.

Cool Martin, that will be very useful.
