Hi, i found some stag horn sumac bowl blanks on ebay, what kind of turning wood is this I haven’t a clue, also does it crack easily, it was cut green and waxed thanks

Never turned it but according to this should turn fine with good grain and color.

i finely finished the sumac it beautiful wood the yellow in it is slight luminosity. Its soft about like pine

I’ll see if I can get something better. how do I change res I don’t now cameras that well
