That lathe is the same as a JET.They are made at the same factory, just yellow and not white as Jet normally are and thats makes it cheaper :D

Thomas, I know how exciting getting a new tools can be. I love to turn and I’m sure you will too. I wish I could come for a visit. I would bring a suitcase full of turning blanks and we could make some bowls. How about chucks or do you plan to work with spurs at first? Can’t wait to see your first project.

Napoleon—I envy you! I long for the day that I have enough room in my shop for a lathe.

I don’t blame you being excited!

Congratulations! I remember being very excited when I got my first lathe. Yours looks like a variable speed, a feature that you will surely enjoy. The best thing about a lathe for me is that you can start & finish a project in a single session. Very rewarding that way.

Congratulations old chap.
This is what you need now: http://www.woodturning.dk
Be aware it is wonderful time spend.
Looking forward to see what you will make with this wonderful machine.
I just looked at the site it looks fine, and can be extended with a extra bed up to a meter, so that should be fine.
I think the electronic speed control will be just wonderful.
Best thoughts,
Mads
