Just got back from picking up a dovetail jig that has seen little, if any, use. Got it for $325, so am pretty happy. -- Don, San Antonio, TX |

Nicely done….envious. Just goes to show if you stake out CL long enough it can pay off, big time. -- bluesmarky..........................................."If you're here & I'm here, doesn't that make it our time?" |

I’m a Craigslist junkie….have gone to the CLA (Craigslist anonymous) meetings, but they have been no help…this gloat just makes the addiction worse….... -- Gary; Marysville, MI...Involve your children in your projects as much as possible, the return is priceless. |

Wow, that is a nice score, Don. I look at CL everyday and have yet to find a bargain like this. -- Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful- Joshua Marine |

Matt, It did in fact; plus the bushings, several router bits…I think the basic kit that comes with the jig. The only thing missing is the DVD. But, I got on the Leigh website and ordered the free DVD and gave them the serial number and ask that they register that serial number with me. Don’t know if that will do any good, but thought I would try, for future emails, etc. While I was on their site, I did find several “bullitins” that gave proceedures about ways to use the jig that is not referenced in the manual. -- Don, San Antonio, TX |

Congrats – you got the best dovetail gig on the market. Advice – make sure ALL the fingers are screwed down snug before using the gig. Otherwise, the vibration from the router will cause set screws to come out. Another lesson I learned the hard way. -- Rich, Cedar Rapids, IA - I'm a woodworker. I don't create beauty, I reveal it. |

Another bit of advice, don’t make the mistake that I have made (several times) and pick the router up off the jig before the bit has completely stopped turning. Sometimes I am not as patient as I should be and I have lifted it off early and nicked the jig fingers with the router bit. Its a great jig, you will enjoy. -- Dan - "Collector of Hand Planes" |

Your Craigslist has Leigh jigs? Geez, I’m lucky to find a old powerwasher. -- My dad and I built a 65 chev pick up.I killed trannys in that thing for some reason-Hog |

Chicago Craigslist just had a 24” D4 listed for $125. I scored a 1258 last year for $80, so didn’t find out if this was a scam, but yeah sometimes you get lucky. |

nice score I wish I could score something from CL but I only get good stuff from ebay or amazon and on ebay I have to fight very hard cuz people pay new product prices for used stuff I don’t get it. Everytime I look on CL I never get a darn thing. -- Ike, Big Daddies Woodshop, http://www.icombadaniels@yahoo.com |
