ive been looking at a new table saw
have looked at a new Craftex model cx212
havent seen many reviews on the craftex
also have looked at th Stallion cwi-1002
laguna fusion 36 in

located in Canada

Respectfully, you’re going to need to give a little more info or ask some more specific questions if you want to spark much fruitful convo here.

Are you only looking for opinions on those 2 models? Hobby vs. pro use? What types of projects do you like to do? Space or power constraints? Budget? etc…

I think this is an appeal to our Canadian friends. I believe Craftex is a Canadian brand and not very many woodworkers in the US will be familiar with it.

I don’t know much at all about the Craftex, but my understanding is that there is some family relationship between Craftex and Grizzly, and several of their tools are similar. The CX212 looks a lot like the Grizzly G0771Z.


What I know of the Laguna Fusion is that the guts under neath are nearly identical to those on the Jet Proshop series, but the Jet has a steel one-piece front rail, vs an aluminum two-piece rail on the Fusion. Advantage Jet.
