Does anybody know if plans are available anywhere to build the Hans Wegner designed Plank 3 Seater Sofa?

Here is an example: https://www.inmod.com/hans-wegner-plank-3-seater-sofa.html

I would like to build this some day.

Thanks,

Jeff

Several older woodworking classroom books (local library) show how to estimate dimensions as long as you know the height, width and length of the object. In this case you have four views which will be very helpful.

John L. Feirer in his book Cabinetmaking and Millwork has a drawing on how to dimension a chest of drawers. His book also shows types of joinery for furniture.

I had students use this texkbook and at one time it was referred to as the Bible of Woodworking. I see it is available at amazon.

Wuddoc,
Thanks for the link. I will check out the book. I was hoping there were plans I could purchase so I don’t have to go through that process.

Merry Christmas,

Jeff

A couple of people have built those on this forum. Do a quick search and shoot them a message. “Wegner” didn’t pull up what I wanted, but I searched “Z chair” and lots of things popped up. People are very gracious about sharing here. Good luck and keep us posted.
