Topic tags/keywords: question resource

I was turned on to photobucket as a means of getting and giving pictures along with a place to place them and size them etc. However I have come across the problem of them coming up gone. Like the tree I showed on here awhile back asking if anyone knew what kind it was. I was really enjoying the Lumberjocks response to it and all of a sudden the picture is gone and so are the comments. I realise this is not an outright question regarding woodworking, however it definitely affected the outcome here and also on my personal blog at blogger. I have tried to get photobucket to answer this question and have never received a response. I have a feeling that this is something I have overlooked somewhere. Does anyone know what is up with this. Thanks sooo much

Allison,

Do I understand correctly that the comments on the LJ site disappeared? If so, I’m clueless on that one.

I do know on Photobucket if you move the pictures around, like reorganizing them in sub-folders, it breaks the link to the picture – could this be the problem?

Good luck! Tim

Currently, there is no way the comments could disappear here on the LJ.

Allison, could you post the link to the exact thread? And to your photobucket album as well if possible. Thanks!

Allison,
Yes, I’ve had the same problem just recently with photos disappearing from a slide show that I’d made for my resume and work website. I’m now using “Picasa”. It’s a Google product and so far no problems.

I’ve been using dotphoto.com for a few months without any problems.
