Topic tags/keywords: table saw pulleys set up saw

Well I was about to post a problem with my saw and how it has a funny jerking sound when it starts. I have taken it apart and now I can see what might be the problem, I am gonna get the steel machined pulleys from grizzly and the power twist belt. The belt I have alredy but I have to order the pulleys hope fully they are the bore size as on my Delta saw. http://www.grizzly.com/catalog/2011/Main/260
My question is don’t these pulleys have to be aligned?

The pulley on the blade axle should be aligned with the pulley on the motor. On my Delta, this is done by loosening the bolts on the motor mount and moving it until they are in alignment. This is discussed in the owner’s manual.
