I just got the following warning when trying to view a project:

Google Safe Browsing recently detected phishing on 47.60.2ea9.ip4.static.sl-reverse.com. Phishing sites pretend to be other websites to trick you.

Everything was fine yesterday – this just started for me now. I’m using a script blocker but have the main site on the white list.

Edit: after posting this, I tried again and it’s no longer giving the warning. Strange!

I saw it too—but now I don’t see it anymore.

I routinely get Google mail alerts on websites that I have used for years and know they are safe. Google sometimes just makes mistakes with their analysis.

OR… someone (or some bot) was trying to get in but the BBoard caught it and ran it out…

I get it once and awhile. Google has so many apps. I think they’re getting out of control.

I’m getting a similar warning from Chrome, but only when I go to a product review link….

I think something has become embedded in the site or on my PC as this is the URL I’m directed to when I attempt to see a product review.

47.60.2ea9.ip4.static.sl-reverse.com

and of course, I get the warning that it’s not a safe site to go to.

I do not see this when I visit LJs from my PC at work.

I just cleared all of my cookies and cache and now I can get to the product reviews via. the correct Lumberjocks URL.

So apparently, some type of malware was re-directing me to a fake mirror page and the Chrome warning was legit.

Be wary peeps. Bad boogie men out there laying in wait to get you :^o

I ran a check on the Site and a Project using my Avast Anti Virus. This is the Result.

Seems okay!

I think it is “Malvertisement” causing the issue

I’ve gotten this when Chrome browser needed to be updated. Might have something to do with how site certificates are verified?

It’s always been bad ads sneaking through the ad network, as far as I can tell. As they’re served up kind of randomly, it only happens once in a while.
