I have a Crapsman jig saw the one with the laser. The base does not lock down so the cut angle changes all the time while using it. I have tightened the screw all the way down and it still moves. I can move it by hand no problem. What would you suggest I do? Have you had this problem with other saws?

no just the crapsman & black & decker
I would suggest a bosch or festool if you can afford one.
I went with the festool & it is absalutly the best jigsaw I ever picked up
hope this helps.

Craigslist: sell the “Crapsman”. Then put those funds towards a better tool.
