I have the DeWalt DW734 12-1/2 in. Thickness Planer…

it seems like the rollers are not grabbing and feeding the stock like it use to. I waxed the in/out feed and the bed. I have looked at and felt the rollers they seem to not be damaged in any way but are a little dirty. Dusty really.

I was going to use Lacquer thinner on them but thought I would ask here first..

How would you clean them IN THE MACHINE and perhaps condition them?

clean the feed rollers lacquer thinner is fine.

Watched a great tip on the DeWalt planners today, as mine is stating to get fine lines from small nicks on the blades.

Loosen and move one of the blade over ever so slightly Tighten back down…. GREAT tip!
