Topic tags/keywords: rowan turning resource

I’m searching for a source for Rowan wood. I need turning blanks 1” x 12”, as well as lumber of a size large enough to make keepsake boxes, 3×15x3/4, etc.

Can anyone point me to a source?

Thanks,

~Rin

Also look for Mountain Ash as it is sometimes called. I knew of a tree trimmer in your area who collected such woods but it was years ago and I have forgotten his name.

Rin, you might try woodfinder.com. Good luck.
