AQMD has the most stringent VOC limits for all coatings to protect the quality of air in our district.
Whoever want to buy below products from any particular store, your understanding and acknowledgment is required to make sure what and what to buy.

1. Paint thinner is only for Industrial Maintenance Coating Thinner.
2. Lacquer thinner is also for Industrial Maintenance Coating Thinner.
3. Xylene, Toluene, Lacquer Retarder, Reducer, and retarder, Odorless Paint Thinner, Naphtha, Kerosene, MEK are all for Industrial Maintenance Coating Thinner.

Above solvents can not be used for clean-up solvents and thinning.
Cleaning solvents should be less than 25 VOC or Acetone.

Consumer paint thinner and multi purpose solvent should be less than 25 grams/liter by the rule 1143 from Jan 1,2011

All shelf stock will be shipped out and replaced by ”Green Products”.

Every time I see stuff like this I thank my lucky stars that I don’t live in California.
