ive been trying to sell my treadmill on cl and a guy wants to trade his grizzly g1023 table saw for it. he says it has a buch of upgrades on it. iam waiting for the email as to what the upgrades are. he also said its a 5-600 saw. not sure what that means. my treadmill is worth $800 to $900. would this be a good trade? i trust this forum for a honest opinion. the new models of the 1023 are going for $1200 to $1400 depending on the exact model.

The G1023 has had a few variations over the years, and you’ll need to find out the suffix at the end of the G1023 to know for sure. G1023S, SL, SLX, SLW, SLX, Z, RL, RLW, etc….might be others. Retail was typically in the $90o to $1500 range. I suspect he means that $500-$600 is a fair used price.

you get you want – he gets what he wants, Everyones’ happy! What the heck does some theoretical market value matter?

Has the treadmill sold for $8-900? Will it? Do you want a saw? I have a 1023SL and I love it. As Scott said, the model and age and condition of the saw may have a bearing on your decision.

If the saw is ragged out and you can get $8-900 for the treadmill, you will be in a good position to find a used cabinet saw in good shape.

scott…if you trade your 2 treadmills for a 12 pack (you should at least ask for a case), where are you going to hang your work clothes?
