Topic tags/keywords: advertisements ads

I have to ask. What’s with all the Gaga adverts on a woodworking site? Not just once, it seems they come up more often than any others. That’s a freaky picture too. I’d rather see ads for something relevant to woodworking.

Adverts use yourbrowsing history to target specific things to you. Sooooo, either they think Gaga is a good fit for you or someone else uses your computer. :)

yeah, coincidentally I just did a bunch of searches on iPhone 4 cases in the past week…guess what is advertised on the right side of my screen right now!

Nope. The only Gaga I have here is for woodworking. I’ve found it interesting though how different projects often bring up related ads. Smart advertising.

If you use Firefox, use the add in Ad Block Plus and you won’t see any ads.
