Hello Lumberjocks I am new here and really need some help.I am currently working on a project for a customer that I am trying to match pieces that they have currently.I am trying to match stain color.The client told me the stain that was given to her from the manufacturer that made the other peices.I was only given a number S5 does that mean anything to any of you? It doesnt me YOUR HELP PLEASE

drewnahant home \| projects \| blog 218 posts in 1256 days #2 posted 814 days ago	a good paint store will match stain if you bring a sample of the customer’s pieces ( i usually take a drawer front) and a sample of your wood, since the base color effects the final color. some do it in store, one place i go to sends it out to the manufacturer to color test, it takes about 2 weeks, but it is always perfect.
