I wanted to publicly thank Charles Neil for helping out me and my students.
A while ago I posted a question about woodworking videos that I could share with my students (I teach high school woodshop) Someone suggested that I talk to Charles Neil to see if he could help out. I sent him an email and got a wonderful response quickly and he totally delivered for my class!
Charles, you are a great woodworker and a wonderful human being! Thank you so much!!!

You are so right… Charles has responded to my specific questions and has been most helpful.
Thank you Charles .
All the best to you and your family, Happy Thanksgiving.

I was the one who suggested you look at Charles’ videos on Youtube. He has an extensive list of very approachable and educational videos there that I felt would benefit your students. I’d be hard-pressed to list all the great tips and techniques I’ve gotten from them since there are so many.

I’m not surprised though, that he went the extra mile to help you out. I don’t know him personally, but that seems to be his character.

You’re the man, Charles. We’re lucky to have you here for advice.

Sounds great I know your kids will benefit from his videos. I taught woodshop pre-YouTube. I would have like the type of instructional videos out there to help. The only movie I got was primitive Pete misusing hand tools. I made a slide series on each machine but videos are better. Good Luck on the greatest career you could have ( no bias in that statement)

I agree with you all. Mr. Neil is one of the best there is. I had a question about finishing. He went way out of his way to help me. He’s top drawer in my book.
