I have a Grizzly G0555LX – 14” Deluxe Bandsaw and like it. Ever since I got it the bearings sen loud to me. Sounds like they are wearing down.

I Don’t know Jack about bearing and such. I have cleaned them out before but want to just replace them with higher quality ones.

This saw uses…
2 Grizzly P60002RS – BALL BEARING 6000-2RS
and 4 Grizzly P608-2RS – BALL BEARING 608-2RS

I would bet they are all stander or substandard bearings

Where could I get higher quality replacements and make sure they are the right ones?

Is there any way to cross references them and get higher quality ones???

You haven’t screwed them on too tight, have you? There should be a spacer in the center that keeps them from being pinched, but I have tightened them a little too tight before and it makes them squeal.

Got my bearings my G0555 last week.

I won’t get a chance to install them until this weekend.

Well see I don’t want too get my bearing from Grizzly. I suspect they are inferior to others. I still am using the bearing that came with the saw and I have used it very little and I a lost have to wear ear protection form the noise they make. PLUS if you look at them they do NOT SEEM to be SEALED in any way
