What is the best stain for curly maple? The brand and type?

There is a reference manual from our finishing Ato Z DVD as a reference at the bottom of the above listed video, its downloadable , and has alot of the color’s we use.. might help some folks ,

NGR alcohol based stain. Maple blotches way to much with stain and you don’t want to ruin a really nice piece of curly maple.
