Topic tags/keywords: table saw craigslist delta

I’ve been looking for a nice used contractor or hybrid table saw for some time now when this add popped up on cl. After previously posting about a jet saw on here that didn’t workout and receiving great advice was wondering if any of you had this saw and if it was a good deal.

Here’s the link. The guy said it comes with everything pictured but no blade, miter gauge or router lift. https://huntsville.craigslist.org/tls/d/delta-contractors-table-saw/6386708949.html

From a glance that looks to be a solid deal. Has Delta T2 fence upgrade. Worth a good look IMO. It may sell fast.

Here’s one for half the price with a lesser fence and not as clean – https://chattanooga.craigslist.org/tls/d/10-inch-delta-table-saw/6384142018.html

Looks good. The extra throat plates will come in handy and it’s got a decent fence. Probably has a 115/230v, 1.5 h.p. motor and the extended table will give you plenty of capacity. If it’s better than what you have now offer $200 shoot for $225 but pay the $250 if he won’t budge on price.

I think it is fair. I would try getting it for $200 if possible.
A good t-lock fence would cost as much as the entire saw, not having to upgrade the fence is a nice plus.
