Hey guys,

I’ve recently been leaning more towards hand tools and have decided to make the switch. This is the first of 4 or 5 posts I will be making over the next few weeks listing some of my power tools and associated accessories for sale.

This is a Jet 6” Jointer. Model No. JJ-6CSX. Other technical specifications can be seen on the nameplate photo.

Some history on the machine: I got it from another woodworker about 5 years ago. He was pretty well off, so I think he was very likely the first owner. He was a hobbyist as am I, so the machine has seen hobby-type use for the duration of its lifetime. Machine is in good aesthetic and working condition. I have used it for 5 years without any significant issues other than switching out blades and putting a link belt on it. It runs smoothly. It is currently wired for 220, but can be switched to 110. The cutterhead has minor surface rust, but it does not affect performance. The beds are flat and clean. There is a 4” dust collection port on the body that can be seen in one of the photos.

I live in Fort Worth, TX – about 30 miles west of Dallas. The machine is available for pickup only. I will help you load it as long as you can pick up your end ;). Cash payment only please. Price is $325.

Please post general questions to forum and I will do my best to answer them. If you are interested in purchasing or making an offer, you can PM or Email be at davehburkett@gmail.com.

Thanks!

Very tempting and looks like a good deal based upon the crazy prices I have seen for comparable machines on Craigslist. If I had room in my shop I would have jumped on this already.

Yeah I try to be a little more reasonable with the prices here on LJs. Buyers tend to be more educated and reasonable here than craigslist.
