The My Lumberjocks link in the upper right hand corner has stop working for me. I’m using FireFox. when I hover the mouse over the My LumberJocks icon, the link shows up on the information bar at the bottom of FireFox but when I click the icon, nothing happens. Anyone else having the same problem?

Just found out that the Bold, Italic, Link and Img buttons are exhibiting the same behavior. Strange.

Add the PREVIEW button the mix too…

Sounds like it may be a block issue. Sometimes this thing I’m on won’t open a link because it says it’s a pop up. Try to right click on the link and select open in new window. Good luck.

Chunk, mine seems to be working just fine and I use Firefox.

Chunk,I use FF and mine is working.
Sometimes that happens just before your computer blows up :-)

Seriously, check your pop up blocker like Junior says.

Thanks guys.

I’ve been turning off popup blockers, ad blockers, blockers for the blockers, virus protectiion, reconfiguring the Google Toolbar, playing around with the FF configuration and nothing! I can’t even click on the project pictures to view each picture nor enlarge them.

Man this sucks!

grrrrr

Have you tried the old “shut it down, unplug it and let it set for a while and then restart it” trick?

Mine works and I use Firefox too.
Try running Firefox in Safe Mode (not Windows Safe Mode).
Start > Programs > Mozilla Firefox > Safe Mode.
At least that will tell you if it is something within Firefox.

No problems here Chunk.

I’m using IE8. Never had a Pop Up show up either. Think it has more to do with your Browser than a site problem.

Hey Junior. I just tried your “Right Click, Open In New Window” thing. Works Great! Might be a good way of NOT having to use the “Back Button” all the time!! Just close the Present Window. Thanks!

Great Site EH! You learn all kinds of things that you knew you didn’t know before you even figured out that you didn’t even know them in the first place!!.... I have NO idea what I just said!! Problem is though it seems to make Sense???

Time for my Meds I guess. Hold my Spot until I get back please Chunk.

Chunk: I just saw your comment about your Google Tool Bar. That one in particular, but also any other Tool Bar other than the one that’s the Default for your Browser can cause a LOT of Problems!! I speak from experience!

When I got rid of Google’s 6 months ago a LOT of problems seem to Magically Disappear. Let alone what they do, RUNNING in the background that most people aren’t aware of.

For what it’s worth..IF you can find Google’s Bar in your Programs or Add/Remove Programs. I’d get rid of it. Do a Re Boot and see what happens. You can always get it back if you want to.

JJ: Yup. I even kicked my dog!

But alas, I have fixed the problem. I cleared the FF cache and all is right in the world once again.

Thanks for everyone’s help. It was nice to know that the problem was definitely on my PC. Just had to dust off the old Computer Engineering degree to get to the bottom of it.

Glad you’ve got it going now, Chunk. Now, write that down and hide it somewhere where you’ll forget where it is so next time, you’ll have it….... or maybe not…...

Rick, you can use the right click for the “back” button too.
