Topic tags/keywords: question radial saw guard

I just “inherited” a Dewalt model 925 DLX radial arm saw. It seems to run ok, but it is missing the blade guard. Does anyone know how to get one or if some other saw brand part would fit the DeWalt?

The OWW.ORG web site has a “Bring Out Your Dead” forum for buying/selling vintage tools and parts of tools. In order to access that forum, you must create an account. Parts for these saws are listed pretty often.

I haven’t seen any other make/model guard that I would want to put on a 925. The square edges on the arm need the square square edges of the guard to make everything look right.
