I’ll be in Orlando for a conference next week and may have just a little time to go exploring. I’m wondering if there’s anything I need to make sure I don’t miss, anything from a used machinery dealer to a hardwood dealer (yes I already checked other threads for that) that is very worth hitting up. I’ll be close to Disney and it looks like there’s not a real quick way to get anywhere down there so the closer, the better. Thanks in advance!

You could go up to Crystal River and swim with the Manatees

I found the woodcraft, too be there isn’t one actually in Orlando. Manatee swimming sounds like fun but I doubt I’ll have that much free time. I’m on a tight enough schedule that I’m not even sure it’s worth getting a rental car.

Woodcraft is technically in the “Orlando area”. 417 would make it a relatively easy access. I-4 is rough to get there sometimes. Rockler isn’t too far off from I-4 in Altamonte. Gleman and Sons is a hardwood dealer in Sanford/Lake Mary area; just a bit north of Orlando, but 417 would make it a somewhat quick trip there.

Thanks again, I’ll see if I have time (hopefully) to head a little ways north.
