Anyways, it is a great jointer and will serve you well. The biggest thing I learned about the DJ-20 is in regards to the blade guard. If you need to remove the guard for maintenance DO NOT loosen the allen bolt on top. Instead loosen the allen bolt on the front of the machine (red arrow). This will release the entire guard and guard post. When you reinstall the guard, your return spring tension will stay the same.
