what type of wood is this its got pine like bark but its a hardwood dark coffee heart wood and army geen and brown andbeige on the reat . i got it in corning ca

I think this might be black locust. Or as most here would call it Black Elder Alder Locust Gum.

It looks like black locust to me too, less so with the wood & more so with the bark. How hard was it to turn? Black locust is notoriously tough to machine.
