A used Delta Unisaw or Powermatic PM2000.

That’s what I’d do, at least ;-)

I’d agree with above, assuming the fence is in good shape. I bought a used saw for a steal that needed a new fence & blade guard system. Turns out it wasn’t that much of a steal. In a new saw, I’m guessing most of the guys here will say Grizzly.

This one:

It’s probably an SC3, a $7000 machine new. The 3 phase
motor might be a problem for you. You’d have to replace
it with single phase or get a converter.

His price would be high for an older SC3, but for a more
recent one it could be a bargain.

edit: sorry, I thought you wanted used. New – well, I never
buy new machinery so I can’t say. Most of the American
cabinet-style machines are made in the same factories in
Asia. Quality is said to be pretty good these days and newer
saws have a riving knife, a useful safety feature.

Assuming you have 220v, Grizzly offers one the best bangs for the buck in a new saw IMHO. Their 3hp cabinet saws are awesome for hobbyist, and are darn nice saws for light industrial too. If you need to use it for heavy commercial work, then a used PM or Uni would be the way to go.
