This is a question for the trim guys out there. I’ve been really unhappy with the quality of door locks I’ve put on houses lately. The brand that comes to mind are the kwik set. The ones on my house and shop have failed after a few years of use. Might have something to do with plastic parts! They feel cheap the first time you turn them. I remember locks from twenty years ago and I know they worked a lot better. I’ll keep putting the cheap crap on houses because that is what the contractors suppy, but in my own house I’d rather have something that will last over five years. Any good ideas? Thanks |
