Anyone know how to get rid of it after you have loaded it on your computer?
I cannot find any uninstaller or even a listing for it other than on the t/b.

Richard, windows PC. Checked the control panel, programs, searched for it…nothing. This showed up as an app and I d/l’d it. There does not appear to be an uninstall…..if you can help I’d appreciate it.
Top: decided I didn’t like it because of tracking bots associated with it. I know some are unavoidable but I just don’t want to compound it.

I feel like prey everytime I’m online. MacAfee has warnings constantly.

Windows/MS “Add Remove Programs” is next to useless! So is there “Disc Clean Up”.

I have 2 others that I use that will show you ALL of the Programs, Software that are on your Computer. It shows at Least 5 times the Programs that “Windows” will show you. One of them is “IOBit” if you want to Google it.

They will also allow you to “Right Click” it and review all the “Properties” of the Program before you decide if you want to get rid of it or not. NOT something “Windows” does.

I also have another Free Program “Eusing Window Washer’ that WILL clean off ALL the Temps, Cookies, dlll Files etc. regardless of which Browser you use. “MS Disc Clean Up” won’t even find half of them. They also have a Registry Cleaner that I use.

Ok I found it. Buried in the brower tools(firefox) I don’t trust programs that don’t show on the search options and do not show on the add/remove(not that either of those are great but hey it’s windows)
Thanks to all and Froggy I’m checking out the ones you mentioned.

no no no…. on internet explorer do the following

1.click on tools at the top. (sometimes you need to press “alt” to make them appear)
2. Click Manage add-ons
3. Locate it in the list of All add-ons. ( you may have to click show all context box)
4. Disable

Easy as that. and you can probrably get rid of other addons at the same time to open up your viewing pane a bit.

Have fun. Msg me if you have problems

Edit…...
lol I guess froggy just beat me to it

LOL, if you guys hadn’t have said how to do it already, I was going to tell the same thing froggy and frankie just said. Personally I don’t have any toolbars at all, don’t like them, they take up too much real estate even with a 24” monitor with 3 screens :) I guess i’m a hardcore linux/windows server guy though.

IMO, break out the wood maul and split your PC case. It relieves stress and stops that nasty toolbar. Next… go shopping for a new PC, one without the offending LJ toolbar.

EDIT!!! My Post #5….... I gave you the wrong one to use to uninstall Programs etc. IOBit is NOT the one I’m using now. The one I’m now using is NirSoft “My Uninstaller”. IF this Link works, it should take you there. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/myuninst.html

They also have an IP Address Identifier. Feed in the Web Site from the Address Bar and find out all you might like to know. Lots of others also.

Sorry for the confusion.
