Topic tags/keywords: question

Just a quick question – I will be needing the long open time of this glue here shortly but noticed that it said I needed temps above 70. I do not have that kind of heat available and the wife said no way for using the house and I have a few more months before I get that temp outside. Can I still use it, what will happen, longer clamp time? Thanks.

I use a electric blanket for my glue ups.I’m pretty cold here also and you have to get that temp up or it won’t set.I use the same glue (weldwood)and never any problems with this method and I have done some serious wood bends with this glue.

electric blankets or a space heater… maybe you do your glue up outside and then bring it in the house to cure.. little mess for the wife to complain about htis way… call it a marital compromise.
