Topic tags/keywords: lumber mesquite

Lot of 7 or 8 pieces of prime, kiln dried, Texas Honey mesquite. Mix of thicknesses and sizes. See photobucket slideshow (click view all button) for details/dimensions on each.

I took most of the pictures with a Stanley Bailey number 5 in the background for scale. The plane isn’t for sale, lol.

I haven’t got a box handy, but I’m pretty sure everything will fit in one large flate rate box. I’m looking for $20 + the $15 flat rate shipping cost. If there’s extra room, expect it to get stuffed with small pieces suitable for pens, finials, etc.. I plan on filling this box UP.

If more than one person is interested, I can probably put together a couple of other boxes with similar contents. I’m not sure I want to take pictures of each piece again though – ugh… it was too much work. If you want all thicker pieces or thinner pieces, let me know. I think I might even have some 4” thick chunks lying around.

This is the small stuff. I’ve got a fair amount of mesquite I’d like to clear out. If anyone is looking for mass quantities of 2-6’ lengths of 4/4 mesquite, let me know. I can arrange shipment of a pallet load of 400 pounds or so of kiln dried, bug free, mesquite for about $600 + shipping costs. Bear in mind this would be a bulk rate and there’s going to be a mix of really prime beautiful pieces and pieces with some checks, funky shapes from live edge, etc. If you work with mesquite much, that’s just a fact of life. A little black epoxy or mineral fill in the checks works great. If you’re interested in pallet loads, PM me and I’ll send a couple pictures.

This box is spoken for. If anyone else expresses an interest, I can make up a few more. Let me know and I’ll send some pics of the box and contents. Also, when I stuffed all this in the large flat rate box, there were some empty spots, so there’s a bit more small stuff inside than shown in the pics.

Worst case, you’ve got some good smokin’ wood!

I would be interested in a small box of it if you have any more available. Let me know!
