Topic tags/keywords: woodworking tools hobbies woodworking shop anniversary wife children

I love my woodworking tools and my shop but I love my wife and children a whole lots more. Yesterday was mine and my wife’s 40th anniversary and our marriage is still going strong. Shortly after we were married way back in 1971 I bought my first woodworking tools. I spent a 1,000 bucks on ‘em at Woodcraft. Money was tight but my wife supported my decision. She’s always supported and indulged my hobbies and interest and has made a good home for me and our children. It doesn’t seem like 40 years at all because it went by so quickly. I love my wife and children more than anything. Ain’t life grand?

Hitting 40th in November. Didn’t buy any woodworking tools. 20 days after we got married headed to Vietnam. They only gave me 1 tool over there. It’s been a great time since.
