If you are in either San Francisco or in Marin County I am looking to purchase a small quantity of Apply-Ply to rebuild a kitchen pantry drawer.

Thanks!!

Go to Google Maps, then in the map bar type Appleply near 12345 <- your zip code. It will pop up a few places

Oh, I should add, publicly: I buy my ApplePly from Mount Storm up in Windsor, just north of Santa Rosa.

I have not worked with Appleply or looked for it.

MacBeath was the first place in the Bay Area:

Mount Storm in Windsor:

One option is to call Capital Plywood (wholesale only) and ask who buys apple ply from them:

Good luck,

@RCS47 and Dan: I totally forgot about Mount Storm up in Windsor. When we lived in Windsor I had bought some Alder from them. It is also my understanding that there is a place in Oakland that sells Apple-Ply to non-wholesale customers.

A couple of years ago I heard of a place in Rohnert Park that sold it; but there was a $250.00 minimum.

Thanks Gent’s.

Yeah, I forget the name of the place in Rohnert Park, the guy who redid our floors bought his stuff from there. They’re off State Farm Drive, but they’ve never been particularly friendly to me as a consumer, even though two sheets of ApplePly and we’re close to the $250…

The Mount Storm guys have always treated me well. They’re not particularly set up for small retail customers (ie: cash or check only), but they’re friendly and helpful.

Oh, and it sure looks like the State of California is making me maintain a sales tax ID number (I’m still waiting from some paperwork back from them), so if the criteria are “minimum order and a tax ID”, gimme a holler. Maybe I can tag on stuff I need, or whatever.
