Topic tags/keywords: question

I have a basement shop. I have made several cabinets which are currently unfinished. I am thinking about painting them a light gray or white to brighten up the space. I understand once I paint I will have to maintain.

Curious on others opinion?

I did a light grey satin on some shop cabinets. Only maintenance for the paint I’m anticipating is abiut 20 years down the road. If you think they’ll get dirty, consider using a gloss as that is easier to clean. I just wouldn’t use a flat wall paint. Good luck.

If the cabinets are for the basement shop, what would you need to do to ‘maintain’ them?

Cheers,

Paint a gloss paint. U can brush the frames and take the doors off and spray them outside. With gloss paint dust will blow or wipe right off. Doubt it’ll require much maintenance

I painted these at my old shop. I just used Rustoleum spray paint and they held up well for the year before I sold the house
