The sander comes with a hose adapter, but the way the adapter holds on the sander via a pressure fit on an o-ring, it doesn’t hold tight. I could hose clamp it but that just doesn’t seem like the best fix.

Is there a hose that locks on securely like the dust filter does? I’ve searched and came up with zilch, only that it takes a 35mm hose.

I got this 35mm hose use with my Bosch sander and my track saw. It fits tightly on the adapter.

I kept looking at that one but couldn’t tell how it attached. Does it attach directly to the sander or do you need to use the hose adapter?

It attaches to the adapter. The other end fits a 2 1/2” port on a vacuum.
