Just purchased a 34-802 Type 2. I believe it was manufactured in December 1992. Blade elevating mechanism was not working. After removing the top it was apparent that there was excessive wear on both the worm gear and gear teeth on the arbor castings. The gear teeth on the arbor casting were concave rather than straight across. Worm gear was worn as well so the teeth were not meshing. Has anyone seen this type of wear before? I’ve purchased replacement parts but I want to make sure there is not some underlying problem causing the misalignment rather than just reassembling the parts
