I have a brand new Mortise machine, and the first time I used it the chuck fell off the shaft. I can’t get it to stay on, has anyone had this problem or know how to resolve it?

If it’s brand new don’t void your warranty by trying to fix it yourself, contact PM customer service.

I called PM technical help. I gave it a good cleaning and tapped it on with a piece of wood and a hammer, it seems to be working now. Thanks
