Got you with the THREAD/POST title didn’t I…..

Okay I am almost ready to get back into making sawdust for selling. Almost got my shop put back together. Guess what I am not 22 any longer. I swear that drill press gained 20 pounds.

Any ways. I am going to get out there and try to spread the word about who I am and what I do. I wish to hob nob with a few influential folks that might be able to grease the skids and get the word out.

I was thinking of making some sort of TRINKET to hand/give them I made they can use and show.

This should show my skills, be able for them to use/show on a daily basis BUT not be expensive in time and or money to make a give away. I was thinking maybe 10-20 of whatever I could come up with. They all don’t have to be the same thing.

ANY IDEAS???

Here is one I plan on making…. Something like this but with my style on it…

Print or have printed some business cards on wood veneer. If nothing else, you can put a couple inside the card holders you are giving away—one for them, one to give to a friend.

A wooden fidget spinner. They’re popular, can show a level of precision, craftsmanship and design originality. And, if you have some nice exotic scraps laying around your shop, can showcase you’re ability to put a fine finish on a great looking piece of wood.

This instructables how to used a custom stamp but what I’ve wanted to try is using paper backed veneer in an inkjet printer. If that works, it might be necessary to spray or wipe on a thin clear coat to protect the ink?
