Click on the ‘Blogs’ tab at the top left of this screen just below the LJ logo, select which blog you want to add to and follow the different boxes, add your text and bingo there is another entry in your blog.

Jack, if you are wanting to start a new blog then simply click on the My Lumberjocks tab in the upper right corner and select new blog entry. From there you would follow the text blocks with your new blog.

Adding to a blog
1. add a comment (as you noted)
2. edit your blog: (go to the blog, and in the top right corner of the posting you will see an “edit” button) click, edit, save changes. Then post a note to say you have updated (if you wish) so people will know that you have added something
3. blog series: If the first blog isn’t set up as a series, go to edit again and add a series name. Save. Then start a new blog and select the series name. This will put the additional information as “part II”.

hope that helps.
