According to a USA Today article, tablesaw safety in the United States is getting another look from the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), and saw manufacturers may get a call to testify as to why the problem has not been addressed sufficiently.

I appreciate your enthusiasm over the article,but did you mean to start two seperate threads? ;o) The USA today article stirred up quite a hornets nest both here and on most woodworking sites I know…Here’s a thread from here:

Simply because the news falls into both tool and safety forums and the news is worth sharing among different forum visitors. The news is impartial and I didn’t realize there was another thread on it already.
