Roy Underhill did at least one episode on making wheels. Last one was about a wheelbarrow but same principle.

thanks for the help. I am looking for download plans i can print. The site you gave me Tony only gives step by step instructions, I’m old and need pictures that are printable. I can not print off these illustrations.

I got curious about making wheels so I started looking and found a bunch of automotive journals from the early 1900’s debating on whether a steel wheel was safer than wood. The argument for wood being that you could easily repair them anywhere with a minimum of tools. I guess you have to remember that wood wheels had been the standard for centuries. None of this answers the question though.

I didn’t find any plans for 10” wood wheels. Closest I found was this 14” wheel.
